The Weekend of League to come!

Round 6 of the NRL wrapped up yesterday with the Cowboys pulling off a shocking defeat against the strong favorites, South Sydney. With a round of many upsets and each week proving even harder than the last to pick the winners, I will be giving you all a preview of the weekend of League to come.

Kicking us off on Friday at 7.30pm, we have the depleted Bulldogs facing off against a struggling Manly. This game will be accompanied by the suddenly in-form Dragons going up against the top-of-the-table Brisbane Broncos. This seems to be a promising friday night of football, with my money backing Manly and Brisbane to come out on top.
Brisbane's skipper Justin Hodges intends to
make his comeback from injury this Friday

Super Saturday will kick off at 3 o'clock, with the Titans already going back up against the Panthers. The Gold Coast will be wanting to get pay-back after the romping 40-0 defeat they were handed in just the second round of the season.
Following this match, we have a thriller with two extremely unpredictable teams. The North-Queensland Cowboys face the New-Zealand Warriors in a match that should go down to the last minute.
To conclude Saturday we have two top-tier teams in the Sydney Roosters and the Melbourne Storm going at it, with both sides suffering losses of star players.

We love our Sunday afternoon footy here at the ISYS100 Sports Blog, and what better matches to have than the Tigers vs Raiders and the Knights vs Eels.
New star playmaker, Jack Bird, has been
killing it in the halves for Cronulla.

To conclude what will surely be an eventful weekend of Rugby League, we are gifted with the South Sydney Rabbitohs, who are on back-to-back losses, going up against the Cronulla Sharks, who have found their stride and have secured their first 2 wins of the season.

I am looking forward to this weekend, and you should be too.
