Trading Players

Daily Express is reporting that Manchester United are stepping up their efforts to sign Uruguayan forward Edinson Cavani from Paris Saint-Germain. The Red Devils are unlikely to exercise the option to make Radamel Falcao’s stay permanent and instead appear to be hot on the trail of the Saints attacker.Daily Express has learned that Manchester United have already opened talks for the Uruguayan striker, who is almost certain to leave Parc des Princes following another clash with coach Laurent Blanc. The Red Devils will have to delve deep into their pockets in order to complete the purchase, but they are clearly prepared to go the extra mile in an attempt to recruit the player who has been scoring goals on regular basis in Europe’s top leagues for several years now. Despite being mostly used on the wing, Cavani has scored a total of 24 goals in 58 Ligue 1 outings for Paris Saint-Germain.
